How much knowledge has been lost over the years?
The older I get, the more this question keeps poking me. Recorded human history spans thousands of years. What have we lost in that time?
Take the Incas in South America. They performed brain surgery. Their writing system used rope cords that modern scholars have yet to decipher.
That knowledge was lost when the Spaniards showed up and conquered the place.
I’d like think that something I write will be useful to someone down the road. It’d be even nicer if I were still around when that happened.
Either way, here’s my contribution.
